00:00:00.154 but really, that's the beauty in creating the uniqueness of the family of the Lord.
00:00:04.443 And with that today, we actually have an opportunity.
00:00:06.663 We're going to be seeing a testimony video from our very own Kenan here at Freedom
00:00:10.383 Church. So we'll take a look at that, and then we'll hear today's message.
00:00:17.193 It's Kenan Lepic. I am a war refugee from Bosnia, went through a
00:00:22.803 20-year addiction, came from a Muslim family, and I found Christ.
00:00:28.413 I was born in a small village in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
00:00:33.483 My first memories were the start of the war.
00:00:38.313 I just remember
00:00:40.593 gunfire,
00:00:42.693 mortars. They rounded us all up, put us in trucks.
00:00:47.794 Women, children, really young children, and elderly
00:00:53.673 just got let go. And it was me, my mom, and my two grandmas.
00:01:00.873 My dad and my uncle
00:01:04.353 were the ones that got separated.
00:01:07.923 We didn't see my dad or my uncle for almost two years.
00:01:11.343 They got taken to another concentration camp.
00:01:16.143 They just showed up one day after two years, got traded with prisoners.
00:01:20.913 One point towards the end of the war, my mom started talking to some
00:01:27.063 American people about going to America.
00:01:30.544 So yeah, we came to the US in '99. I joined the military right out
00:01:36.514 of high school. I was in till 2012. I deployed to
00:01:42.964 Iraq in 2008 to 2009. I was an infantry
00:01:48.904 machine gunner. I didn't really follow Christ.
00:01:54.363 I didn't know
00:01:56.764 anything about Christianity,
00:02:01.443 but I do realize now that
00:02:04.893 I was being protected the whole time I was deployed.
00:02:07.923 I had hurt my back, and I
00:02:12.873 got put on some painkillers,
00:02:17.703 and I was on painkillers for two years, and
00:02:22.083 that turned into a 20-year addiction.
00:02:28.143 I just got to a point where my dad just left me in my room.
00:02:30.783 There was nothing anybody could really do.
00:02:33.723 I was in there for almost three days on the floor, and I woke up, and
00:02:40.593 what I realized later, a doctor said that it was death fluids.
00:02:45.514 I
00:02:46.893 woke up in a puddle of just fluids, and on
00:02:53.794 my left arm right here
00:02:57.514 was a perfect cross in blood.
00:03:02.643 And I woke up two and a half days later.
00:03:05.464 I feel like God woke me up,
00:03:08.703 and then He sat me in a cell for,
00:03:13.503 it was only a month, but it was enough time for me to realize what had just
00:03:18.904 happened. Reading the Bible and really opening up my mind to
00:03:25.233 God and opening up my heart and just everything just was changing my--
00:03:31.503 The renewal of the mind, the way it talks about in the Bible, it just was
00:03:36.093 happening. And
00:03:39.093 this is 20 years of
00:03:42.964 IV use, of heavy drugs, of just living in pure
00:03:49.053 sin. December 3rd, it'll be two years clean and
00:03:54.693 sober. The Creator knows how to heal His creation.
00:04:00.303 And I realized
00:04:03.873 that God took me from thousands of miles away to
00:04:09.813 bring me here, to bring me closer to Him.
00:04:12.393 I think Sly was the first one that came up to me and just started talking to me,
00:04:17.524 and he just kept saying, "You got this light around you." And then Pastor Eric came
00:04:21.813 up to me, and just we talked, and I just told him all this stuff out of nowhere.
00:04:28.623 And then he had told me that he's
00:04:34.113 been in jail, and it just made me feel comfortable.
00:04:37.803 He's not looking at me like I'm some kind of a convict or something.
00:04:43.444 He understands people go through
00:04:47.433 things in life, and that doesn't define us.
00:04:50.763 Yeah, I would absolutely invite anybody, struggling or not, just looking
00:04:56.794 to be around good people, into Freedom Church.
00:05:00.993 It's just a really good, comfortable setting.
00:05:06.843 It's not your average church, I would say.
00:05:11.283 Amen. Let's give God a great big hand.
00:05:17.000 It's so awesome to have real-life testimony, real-life story.
00:05:21.000 Kenan's story is so much more than just those few minutes that we could share with
00:05:25.000 you. We're planning on having the longer video of that eventually on our website as
00:05:30.000 well, just to hear. We want to get more stories.
00:05:32.000 We want you to hear more about what God is doing.
00:05:35.000 He can change and transform Kenan's life.
00:05:36.000 He can certainly change and transform your life as well.
00:05:40.000 Before I jump into the message, I just want to say thank you.
00:05:42.000 I did not know that was going to happen today.
00:05:44.000 I was a little suspicious when I saw cards in the hands, but from the bottom of
00:05:48.000 Rachel and my heart, I just want to say thank you.
00:05:50.000 Thank you for being such great people to pastor, great people to love, great people
00:05:54.000 to bless us even in return. So thank you so much. It's truly an honor, a privilege.
00:05:59.000 It's what we're here for. It's our purpose to pastor and love the people of Freedom
00:06:03.000 Church and do the kingdom work, do the work of God here in Murrysville and the
00:06:07.000 surrounding areas. And just want to say thank you.
00:06:10.000 With that, jumping into the message today, I want to share with you, picturing--
00:06:16.000 We've all probably seen a boxing match or an MMA fight or something where just two
00:06:21.000 people go in the ring. So if you can picture two guys go into a boxing ring.
00:06:25.000 They've trained for months. The ticket's been written, all this stuff's ready to
00:06:28.000 go, and they start, the bell dings, and they start to fight.
00:06:32.000 And then partway through the first round, one of the boxers turns and starts
00:06:35.000 fighting the ref
00:06:37.000 And then he goes to his corner, and he starts fighting with a trainer, or his
00:06:40.000 coach, or his team, and then he starts trying to fight people in the crowd.
00:06:44.000 What would you all think of somebody if he did that?
00:06:47.000 You'd think he's lost it, right? He's crazy. He doesn't know what he's doing.
00:06:50.000 He's fighting the wrong people. And many of us may laugh at that and think that's
00:06:55.000 ridiculous, but the reality is we do the same thing spiritually and in our lives.
00:07:01.000 We neglect to realize there's a real enemy, and we start fighting our spouse, we
00:07:05.000 start fighting our kids, we start fighting our neighbors, our coworkers, or even
00:07:10.000 other Christians. And we fight the wrong enemy.
00:07:13.000 And if we don't identify who the enemy really is and understand spiritual
00:07:19.000 warfare, we'll be fighting the wrong problem.
00:07:23.000 And today, kicking off this series you see on the slide behind me, The Full Armor
00:07:26.000 of God, Living a Life of Victory, the primary focus of today is going to be on
00:07:31.000 Ephesians chapter six, helping us understand the armor of God, and also how do we
00:07:36.000 fight spiritual warfare. Now, the next three weeks, and it is the month of October,
00:07:42.000 so I want to share and teach and help you understand what is spiritual warfare, how
00:07:46.000 do we fight spiritually, not just in the natural setting.
00:07:51.000 But also to balance this tension a little bit, that every problem we face in life
00:07:56.000 is not caused by a demon. Every bad thing that happens to you is not the devil
00:08:01.000 doing it. We make bad choices as well.
00:08:04.000 So there's this tension of yes, there's a real spiritual opposition.
00:08:08.000 The Bible is very clear that we have a real adversary, a real devil, real fallen
00:08:13.000 angels and demons that cause problems, but ultimately, we also have consequences of
00:08:18.000 our sin. We live in a fallen world. So there has to be a tension of both not
00:08:23.000 blaming the devil for everything, but owning up to what our part is as well.
00:08:29.000 And more than just like the fighter who forgets who the enemy is, the other thing
00:08:33.000 that's also just as dangerous can be a soldier in battle who forgets that they're
00:08:38.000 in a war. If you think about some of the most dangerous people on the battlefield
00:08:42.000 would be a soldier with a weapon who doesn't know who the enemy is, and they're
00:08:46.000 shooting at friendly fire. They're shooting at their own team or their own army, or
00:08:51.000 they forget that they're supposed to be protecting other people around them.
00:08:55.000 So either way, somebody who doesn't realize they're in a spiritual battle is just
00:09:00.000 as dangerous as someone who doesn't know that there's a real enemy.
00:09:03.000 And unfortunately, there's many Christians who don't believe that Satan is real.
00:09:08.000 He's a real created being. There are real demons.
00:09:11.000 There's real spiritual war that we have all around us.
00:09:15.000 Again, not to live in fear and paranoia.
00:09:18.000 My hope at the end of the day in this series is going to be to help you see the
00:09:22.000 spiritual battle for what it is and to understand this, God and Satan are not equal
00:09:28.000 in power. God created Satan. He wasn't originally created as a fallen being, but an
00:09:33.000 angel of light, that he's not equal with God.
00:09:36.000 God is going to, if you read the rest of the Bible, I'm getting a little ahead of
00:09:39.000 myself, you read the end of the story, Jesus speaks a word, and it eliminates all
00:09:44.000 the enemy, all the opposition. So we're on the winning team.
00:09:48.000 God has all power, all-knowing. He's all present.
00:09:51.000 Satan is very limited, but he does have influence and ability if we allow him to
00:09:57.000 cause havoc in our lives. So with that, before we jump into our first verse, let's
00:10:01.000 pray. Heavenly Father, thank you, God, for this day.
00:10:05.000 God, I thank you for this time of worship.
00:10:07.000 God, thank you for the testimony that we got to hear from Kenan.
00:10:10.000 God, thank you for saving his life.
00:10:13.000 God, thank you for providing us the story that is able to be told of you, God, of
00:10:17.000 your saving work, your healing work.
00:10:20.000 I love that he said that the Creator knows how to heal his creation.
00:10:24.000 God, we thank you for who you are. God, I thank you that you are more than capable,
00:10:29.000 more than willing, more than enough, God, to fight on our behalf.
00:10:33.000 And God, I pray today you'd speak through me.
00:10:36.000 God, use me as a conduit to speak your Spirit, your truth, your word to each and
00:10:41.000 every person sitting in this room and those listening online.
00:10:44.000 God, may you receive all the praise, all the honor, and all the glory as a result.
00:10:49.000 In Jesus' name. Amen.
00:10:52.000 Well, yesterday, so for those of you who might not know, we had an event called
00:10:56.000 Victory and Freedom for the ladies.
00:10:58.000 Now, what Victory and Freedom is, is a spiritual workshop designed to help people
00:11:03.000 get set free from their past, have victory over their past, and walk in freedom
00:11:07.000 into their future. And I just want to say, I heard so many great stories.
00:11:11.000 Ladies, how many of the ladies were you there yesterday?
00:11:14.000 Several of the ladies were here first service.
00:11:15.000 Some of you were serving such great breakthrough, healing, and life.
00:11:20.000 And the men, you get the opportunity to sign up for this Saturday.
00:11:24.000 So, men, I know several men signed up, but I want to share, if you are a man and
00:11:29.000 you're in this room, it's men only for this Saturday. You can sign up. It's $30.
00:11:33.000 Covers all your food for the day, and you're going to experience what the ladies
00:11:37.000 got to experience yesterday, experiencing victory and freedom in your life, and
00:11:41.000 that's what we're going to talk about the rest of the message today.
00:11:43.000 Because what we teach you is spiritual warfare.
00:11:46.000 So all of us understand we have a physical body, right? Anybody get hungry?
00:11:51.000 Anybody at all? You're like, "Now I am." Hungry? How about thirsty? Tired?
00:11:56.000 We have these physical experiences, physical things in the natural, but we also
00:12:01.000 have a mind, where our will, our emotions are, and we have a spirit.
00:12:04.000 So ultimately, we are spiritual beings living in temporary bodies,
00:12:10.000 and the battlefield is often in our minds, the connection between our spirit and
00:12:15.000 our body. But as much as we are familiar with the body and the physical, the mind
00:12:19.000 is something we understand through psychology, but the spirit is something many of
00:12:23.000 us don't really recognize or are not as familiar with.
00:12:26.000 So in 1 Thessalonians 5:23, the Apostle Paul was writing a letter, and he sums up
00:12:32.000 this. He's talking about, "May the God of peace make you holy in every way.
00:12:37.000 May your whole spirit and soul and body," three parts, "be kept blameless
00:12:43.000 until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again." And he mentions all three of those
00:12:47.000 because he's not saying just, "Hey, keep your body holy." Like, don't do the bad
00:12:51.000 things. Don't eat, drink, sleep, or bad stuff.
00:12:54.000 But he's saying, "Keep your whole spirit and your whole soul and your whole body."
00:12:59.000 All three aspects of our beings are to be kept holy and blameless.
00:13:04.000 And those three words he uses, the first one there is spirit.
00:13:07.000 In the original Greek language, it's the word pneuma. Pneuma means breath.
00:13:12.000 It's eternal. It's the thing that in Genesis, when God breathed the breath of life
00:13:18.000 into Adam, the first man, as I mentioned last Sunday, it brought life into him.
00:13:22.000 It's breath. It's eternal. Our spirits are going to last for eternity.
00:13:27.000 The second word, soul, is that root word psyche, which is where we get psychology
00:13:31.000 from. The study of the mind. How we think, how we have feelings and emotions, and
00:13:36.000 all these things that are real, but it's our psyche, it's our soul.
00:13:39.000 He says, "Keep that holy." And then your body, your soma.
00:13:42.000 It's a physical and temporary vessel. We are temporary vessels.
00:13:47.000 Our bodies are, but we put so much effort and intentionality and focus on them,
00:13:52.000 right? Whether it's about what we're eating, what we're drinking, how we rest,
00:13:56.000 taking care of ourselves, exercising, stretching.
00:13:58.000 We put so much effort into our physical bodies that are ultimately temporary.
00:14:04.000 Instead, we should be putting so much more effort into our spiritual selves, the
00:14:08.000 thing that's going to last for eternity.
00:14:10.000 Now, it's good to have your mind, your will, and emotions, and there's a lot of
00:14:14.000 self-help and mental health and things that are good, but ultimately, if we're not
00:14:18.000 working on our spiritual selves, we're missing out on the better thing.
00:14:23.000 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen,
00:14:29.000 but on what is unseen. Since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen
00:14:35.000 is eternal." Paul's saying that what we see in the natural is temporary.
00:14:40.000 Again, reiterating the same concept. The things that are unseen.
00:14:43.000 We can't see our spirits. We can't see the Holy Spirit of God.
00:14:47.000 We can see his effects. We can see his work, the outcomes and results of him, but
00:14:52.000 ultimately, we can't see him because he is eternal. He's spiritual. It's unseen.
00:14:58.000 So getting to our main text, Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10.
00:15:02.000 I want to give a little bit of context here because the city of Ephesus, so Paul's
00:15:07.000 writing this letter to the church of Ephesus.
00:15:10.000 He's writing to Christians living in this city, this town that is full of occult
00:15:15.000 practices. There's witchcraft and sorcery and paganism and all kinds of idolatry
00:15:20.000 and worshiping all kinds of spiritual things, and he's writing this letter to them
00:15:26.000 about putting on the armor of God. Like, how to be Christians in a world full of
00:15:31.000 demonic spiritual things. The reality is here in Murrysville and the surrounding
00:15:35.000 areas, we live in a world with a lot of occult practices.
00:15:39.000 Witchcraft, sorcery, idolatry. There's witches' covens around this area, meet right
00:15:45.000 here in Murrysville. There's sorcery and crystals and energies and auras and all
00:15:49.000 these things that people are seeking spirituality, and I don't condemn people for
00:15:53.000 seeking them. I think they're just looking in the wrong places.
00:15:56.000 And what they might not realize, maybe you're here and you participate in some of
00:15:59.000 those deeds or activities, you don't realize you're participating with the works of
00:16:03.000 the devil himself. They're demonic spirits. It's spiritual, but it's demonic.
00:16:08.000 It's not what God's spirit would have you do.
00:16:10.000 So we get to this place where Paul speaks this to the church in Ephesus.
00:16:13.000 He says, "Be strong in the Lord." He says, "Put a final word.
00:16:17.000 Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power." Notice what he doesn't say is, "Be
00:16:23.000 strong in your strength. Be strong in your power." He says, "Be strong
00:16:29.000 in the Lord, in his mighty power." To me, that's so freeing
00:16:35.000 That takes the pressure off of I don't have to be perfect, I don't have to be good
00:16:39.000 enough, I have to be strong in God. I have to be mighty in his power, the one who
00:16:45.000 created all things, the El Shaddai, Lord Almighty. That's who he's saying.
00:16:50.000 He's encouraging the church in Ephesus, and I believe it applies to us that our
00:16:54.000 strength comes from the Lord, not from ourselves.
00:16:58.000 Our strength, our confidence, our authority, and ultimately, our victory comes from
00:17:03.000 God. He says in verse 11, "Put on all of God's armor." He doesn't say put on
00:17:09.000 some of God's armor. He says, "Put on all of God's armor." Put on every aspect.
00:17:15.000 So there's six key aspects of the armor of God that we're going to talk about.
00:17:18.000 He doesn't say pick your favorite two. It's not Panera, right?
00:17:22.000 He says, "Put on all of God's armor." Put on all of it, and it's God's armor, it's
00:17:26.000 not your armor. This was something that's so mind-boggling to me, mind-changing,
00:17:32.000 because I used to think about, I got to put this armor on. I got to do this.
00:17:36.000 I got to do this. But when he says, "Put on God's armor," it hit me when you really
00:17:41.000 study what Paul is saying. He's quoting from Isaiah 59, something written 700 plus
00:17:46.000 years before Paul wrote this letter.
00:17:49.000 He's quoting from Isaiah, where God himself said that he put on the armor.
00:17:55.000 God put on this armor, and he said, "I can't find anyone good enough or righteous
00:17:58.000 enough. I'm going to do it myself." And it was a prophetic picture that 700 years
00:18:03.000 later, when Jesus came to Earth, fully God, fully man, God had to come save us.
00:18:09.000 We could not save ourselves. So when he says, "Put on all of God's armor," God wore
00:18:15.000 it first. God put on this armor, and then he gives it to us.
00:18:19.000 So we're putting on the armor that ultimately belongs to God. It's not ours.
00:18:24.000 He says, "Then you'll be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil."
00:18:29.000 And that word strategies, it means schemes or methodia.
00:18:34.000 It's the methods that Satan will use against us.
00:18:38.000 They're strategies, schemes, plans, methods.
00:18:40.000 The wording there is like a tracking of prey or following and waiting to pounce.
00:18:46.000 Right? Picture a lion or a predator that's
00:18:50.000 tracking something, lying in wait, ready to jump and pounce.
00:18:54.000 That's what the devil does. He waits to try to get you isolated, try to get you
00:18:59.000 separate from the crowd or from the herd, right?
00:19:01.000 Like an animal would do in the natural.
00:19:03.000 He does the same thing with us as Christians.
00:19:06.000 He tries to get you separate from the body of Christ.
00:19:08.000 He tries to peel away marriages and families and relationships because if he can
00:19:13.000 get you by yourself, you're going to fall prey to him more easily.
00:19:17.000 And it's not to live in fear. Again, we have to put on the armor because we don't
00:19:21.000 know when he's going to attack, but we don't live in fear and paranoia.
00:19:24.000 We're just confident that we are wearing the armor of God at all times.
00:19:28.000 And then verse 12, Paul shares about the strategies that we are fighting, not
00:19:33.000 fighting against flesh and blood enemies, right?
00:19:36.000 We're not wrestling against people, but against evil rulers and authorities of the
00:19:41.000 unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in
00:19:46.000 the heavenly places. Number one thing to catch from this is your spouse is not your
00:19:52.000 enemy. Your kids are not your enemy.
00:19:56.000 Your coworkers, your neighbors, people are not your enemy.
00:20:00.000 Now, people cause problems, people attack us, people accuse us, but they are not
00:20:05.000 the enemy. It's the spiritual realm that's at play here.
00:20:11.000 Satan uses people to do dark things, but the people are never the enemy.
00:20:17.000 And I want to tell you, if somebody lives in your household, they are not the
00:20:20.000 enemy. Whether it's your spouse, your kids, your girlfriend, whatever it may be,
00:20:24.000 they are not the enemy, period. But we have to remind ourselves of that
00:20:30.000 truth. This word picture that Paul gives, he actually talks about wrestling.
00:20:35.000 This fighting, this wrestling is not against people.
00:20:37.000 That wrestling is something close. It's personal, and it's exhausting.
00:20:43.000 Any of you ever been in a physical fight or wrestling match or hand-to-hand,
00:20:48.000 whether it's wrestling, grappling, fighting, a couple of you, right?
00:20:51.000 There's some hand-to-hand combat.
00:20:53.000 I wrestled for 12 years, in first to 12th grade, in high school and school.
00:20:57.000 And two-minute periods you think are a really small amount of time, it's a long
00:21:02.000 amount of time when you're locked up with somebody on the ground rolling around,
00:21:05.000 right? So there's three two-minute periods. Wrestling is personal. It's close.
00:21:10.000 In our lives, our relationships are personal. It's close.
00:21:14.000 Your spouse, you get personal. The most opportunity you have to offend somebody is
00:21:19.000 typically the people you're around the most, and that's why God encourages us and
00:21:24.000 insists about forgiving over and over again, not letting
00:21:30.000 offense or bitterness or division creep up in your household especially, or
00:21:36.000 within the house of God. The devil wants to use division, deception, and bitterness
00:21:41.000 to pull us away, ultimately, from God's purposes in our lives.
00:21:46.000 And when you start fighting people that you're called to love, you're doing the
00:21:50.000 work of Satan himself. You're playing into his strategy.
00:21:54.000 You're playing into his method when you choose to fight against the people that
00:21:58.000 you're supposed to love the most. Have you ever heard of this thing called the
00:22:02.000 crazy cycle? Anybody ever hear of the crazy cycle?
00:22:04.000 Crazy cycle, typically in a marriage, it could be any relationship where, I'm not
00:22:09.000 going to say anything too specific, but when a guy says something to his wife, or
00:22:13.000 the wife says something or does something back.
00:22:15.000 And typically, if I do marriage counseling or pre-marriage counseling, people
00:22:19.000 always start sharing their differences and their struggles, and as they say them
00:22:23.000 out loud, many times they're like, "That sounds really crazy." Like, "I got so
00:22:27.000 upset that he put the forks in the wrong way in the dishwasher." When you say it
00:22:31.000 out loud, you're like, "That sounds crazy." But that's what starts this crazy
00:22:35.000 cycle. Sometimes something so small as that, or you say something like, "Oh, you're
00:22:39.000 just like your mother," or, "You're just like your..." That's a bigger one.
00:22:41.000 That's next level. You're going to get in trouble. Don't say that.
00:22:45.000 But many times they start petty. They start small. They start with little things.
00:22:49.000 He was a little bit harsh. She just didn't pay attention.
00:22:52.000 These little things start to happen, and before you know it, you're in this crazy
00:22:57.000 cycle because you're so much fighting each other, and you really go back and think
00:23:01.000 about it, it started with something so small. Well, I call it the devil cycle.
00:23:06.000 It's actually a scheme, a trap of the devil, of what he tries to do is create
00:23:10.000 doubt, denial, and deception. We see this in the fall in Genesis 3, when sin
00:23:15.000 entered the Garden of Eden, when Satan is tempting Eve, he starts off by asking a
00:23:20.000 question, "Did God really say?" And he seeds this seed of doubt.
00:23:26.000 Did God really say? What this may look like in your life is, is God really there?
00:23:30.000 Does God really care? Does God really care if my marriage is healthy and good, or
00:23:35.000 should we just get divorced? Maybe it'd be better off.
00:23:38.000 Or did God really say that he loves you, he cares for you, he knows the hairs on
00:23:44.000 your head? Certainly, he's going to provide for you.
00:23:47.000 Certainly, he's going to bring you through whatever situation it is.
00:23:50.000 But if we listen to the voice of Satan, the serpent, it can cause doubt to come up.
00:23:56.000 And then it leads to denial. He flat out lied to Eve and said, "You won't die if
00:24:02.000 you touch the fruit." Now, he was actually speaking somewhat truth, but it was
00:24:06.000 twisted in a way to cause denial. Many times it's, see, where is God now?
00:24:11.000 He's not showing up for you like you expected him or in the timing, so then the
00:24:15.000 doubt turns to denial. Maybe God doesn't really care.
00:24:18.000 Maybe God really isn't there for me.
00:24:20.000 Maybe God isn't able to provide for me because I don't see the work that he's doing
00:24:25.000 in the natural. And then it leads to the deception.
00:24:28.000 Satan would twist scripture every single chance he gets. He'd twist it.
00:24:31.000 He says, "Hey, you'll be like God." This good thing that we should all desire to
00:24:36.000 become like Jesus, he twists it and said, "God doesn't want you to eat this fruit
00:24:41.000 because you'll be like him." And he twists things. He uses deception.
00:24:45.000 This same strategy is what Satan used against Jesus in the wilderness.
00:24:50.000 Jesus was fasting for 40 days and 40 nights.
00:24:53.000 Satan comes along, and three different times we have recorded, he twists the
00:24:57.000 scripture and said, "If you really are the Son of God, turn these rocks into bread.
00:25:01.000 If you are the Son of God, leap from this temple and surely the angels will save
00:25:05.000 you." Three times he challenges Jesus, and what did Jesus do in response to the
00:25:10.000 accusations, this attack of Satan?
00:25:13.000 Well, he combated all three with truth, with scripture.
00:25:18.000 He didn't argue with the devil. He simply quoted scripture to him.
00:25:22.000 And he knew who God was, he knew the scripture, and that was his weapon in order
00:25:27.000 for him to stand firm against the evil one. That's our strategy as well.
00:25:33.000 You must know who God is. You must have the right theology of who he is, and you
00:25:37.000 must know the word of God as well. This is the word of God. The Bible is our truth.
00:25:42.000 This is our staple. This is the thing that does not change.
00:25:46.000 Feelings change, governments change, laws change. This is staying true.
00:25:51.000 This is what we stand upon, the belt of truth, which actually brings us...
00:25:55.000 I'm a little ahead of myself. Verse 13, let's get to the armor of God.
00:25:59.000 Paul says, "Therefore, put on every piece of God's armor so you'll be able to
00:26:03.000 resist the enemy in the time of evil.
00:26:07.000 Then after the battle, you will still be standing firm." To stand firm.
00:26:13.000 There's a picture I want to show you of a Roman soldier.
00:26:15.000 This is just what one of them could've looked like. This is AI-generated.
00:26:18.000 I didn't have an actual picture of a Roman soldier.
00:26:21.000 But here are the six pieces of the armor of God that Paul goes into and shares
00:26:26.000 using a natural illustration to explain a spiritual truth.
00:26:32.000 That's what Jesus did over and over again.
00:26:33.000 He would share parables and stories using things in the natural to help us
00:26:38.000 understand spiritual truth. So you're going to see all six of those in these next
00:26:43.000 several verses. But as we do, he says in verse 14, "Stand your ground,
00:26:49.000 putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness." Three
00:26:55.000 different times, Paul says, "Stand your ground." Stand firm, stay the
00:27:01.000 course, and then you'll be standing at the end of the battle.
00:27:04.000 If any of you have ever been in a fight, you can imagine fighting from a seated
00:27:08.000 position or laying down is not good. You need to stand in order to fight.
00:27:13.000 And if there's a real enemy, which there is, who's trying to steal, kill, and
00:27:17.000 destroy in your life, we don't fight and play nice.
00:27:21.000 We don't fight from a place of sitting down, but we stand against the enemy.
00:27:25.000 We stand against the evil in the world.
00:27:28.000 We stand against people who come into our lives, and demonic things happen through
00:27:32.000 people, through spiritual things, through thoughts, the way he attacks our minds.
00:27:36.000 We have to fight against them spiritually. How do we do that?
00:27:40.000 Well, he says, "Put on the belt of truth." This belt was not just a belt to hold up
00:27:45.000 your pants. It was a belt that would've been like a utility belt.
00:27:48.000 Roman soldiers had a belt that were able to hold their sword.
00:27:52.000 They could hold their shield against it.
00:27:53.000 It held all their stuff together, their gear together, and truth is the thing that
00:27:59.000 holds all these things together. If you waver on truth, it doesn't matter about all
00:28:03.000 the other pieces of the armor. If truth is subjective, if truth is based on
00:28:09.000 feelings or circumstances, you'll never be able to stand against the enemy.
00:28:14.000 That's why the Bible is our guide. The Bible is our compass.
00:28:17.000 The Bible is the thing that is the standard of Freedom Church and should be of
00:28:21.000 every Christian church. The Bible has to be the main thing.
00:28:26.000 The belt of truth also was an identifier.
00:28:30.000 Roman soldiers, even if they didn't have all their other gear or their weapons,
00:28:33.000 they typically would keep their belt on because they wanted to be identified as a
00:28:37.000 Roman soldier. And if a soldier was disobedient or rebelled, they would be stripped
00:28:41.000 of their belt, so they could not identify as part of the military anymore.
00:28:46.000 But he says, "Put on the belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness."
00:28:53.000 But before we get into the breastplate, that truth being so important, the opposite
00:28:58.000 of truth is lies. Truth, lies. Satan himself is the father of all lies,
00:29:04.000 and Jesus explains this, I think, in the most succinct way as he gives this
00:29:08.000 explanation about Satan in John 8:44. He's talking to these Pharisees.
00:29:13.000 These guys are doing evil things, and he calls them children of the devil.
00:29:18.000 He says, "You're like children of the devil because you love to do the evil things
00:29:22.000 he does. He was a murderer from the beginning.
00:29:25.000 He has always hated the truth because there's no truth in him.
00:29:30.000 When he lies, it is consistent with his character, for he is a liar and the father
00:29:35.000 of lies." Lying is not something Satan just does, it's part of who he is.
00:29:41.000 It's in his character. It's in his nature.
00:29:44.000 Any lies and anything that comes from lies is part of who Satan is.
00:29:50.000 God is truth. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." In the beginning
00:29:56.000 was the Word, and the Word was God. Talking about Jesus, and the Word is truth.
00:30:00.000 So Satan comes to lie. He lies about God.
00:30:04.000 He lies about you and about your identity. He'll lie about your spouse.
00:30:09.000 He'll lie about your future. He lies to you.
00:30:11.000 So whenever anything comes to you that's different or contradicts the word of God,
00:30:16.000 it's probably from Satan. And I said all those occult practices, all the spiritual
00:30:21.000 things outside the Holy Spirit is demonic. It comes from Satan.
00:30:26.000 It may sound like the truth, but it's twisted enough.
00:30:29.000 It's deception that he uses to get you to believe something that is not of God.
00:30:35.000 The breastplate of righteousness, the second half of verse 14.
00:30:40.000 And actually, again, quoting from Isaiah 59, talking about the armor, the
00:30:44.000 breastplate of righteousness is something that God wore first.
00:30:48.000 And this is so freeing because it's not our righteousness, but it's his that we
00:30:54.000 put on. Think about it. We don't put on our armor, we put on his
00:31:00.000 armor, his righteousness. So then it's not about our performance, it's not about
00:31:05.000 our perfection, it's his righteousness.
00:31:08.000 And how this works is the accusations may come of, "You're not good enough.
00:31:13.000 You're not in good standing. You're not worth anything.
00:31:15.000 How can you be a Christian?" And you say, "I put on his righteousness.
00:31:20.000 When God looks at me, he sees Jesus in me.
00:31:23.000 It's not my works, it's not my perfection, it's not my doing.
00:31:27.000 It's the work that Jesus did on the cross that I put on," and that's the only way
00:31:32.000 we can be made in right standing with God.
00:31:35.000 Righteousness, simply put, is being in right standing with God.
00:31:39.000 When we are righteous before God, it's only by his work and his doing that we can
00:31:44.000 be made right. Verse 15, "For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the good news
00:31:49.000 so that you'll be fully prepared." Now, Roman soldier shoes would've been thick
00:31:54.000 leather. They had nails often driven through them so they could get really good
00:31:58.000 footing in the ground. Because fighting or combat, football fields, like today, the
00:32:03.000 Steelers, we'll see they're not going to have very good footing on the field today,
00:32:07.000 but footing is so important for combat.
00:32:10.000 Now, that footing, it's interesting because we're talking about warfare.
00:32:14.000 Well, he says, "Put on this peace." Warfare and peace, how do those reconcile?
00:32:20.000 Well, often, war needs to happen in order for a greater good or for peace to take
00:32:25.000 place. We don't go to war, at least in most of our history, most of the good guys
00:32:30.000 typically don't go to war just to kill the bad guys.
00:32:33.000 They go to war to set people free, to bring peace from a horrible government, or
00:32:39.000 regime, or something else that's happening to people.
00:32:41.000 What's happening in much of the world right now, the warfare, the slaughter, the
00:32:46.000 persecution, we need more war in a positive sense to stop the threats of the enemy,
00:32:52.000 the killing of innocent people, to bring about true peace.
00:32:56.000 Because peace is not absent of conflict.
00:33:00.000 I'm not promoting any political or legislative things here.
00:33:03.000 I'm just simply saying there's a reality that to bring peace, often there needs to
00:33:07.000 be conflict. Jesus brought peace on the cross. The cross was not easy.
00:33:12.000 The cross was not peaceful. The cross was not passive.
00:33:16.000 Jesus was beaten, whipped, scourged, and nailed to a cross to die a horrible,
00:33:21.000 gruesome death. There was nothing peaceful about it.
00:33:25.000 But yet ultimately the result was now that we have the gospel, the good news of
00:33:30.000 peace. To have that peace, to live with a peace that surpasses all understanding,
00:33:36.000 Jesus had to go through horrible conflict and death itself to bring us to peace.
00:33:42.000 So standing firm, having a good footing, we must stand on truth.
00:33:46.000 Everything else is shakable. Everything else can be shifting.
00:33:49.000 The word of God does not change. And then we get to verse 16, and Paul actually
00:33:54.000 switches his language to more of putting on certain things to now taking up.
00:33:59.000 It's more of a verb, an action form.
00:34:02.000 He says, "In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the
00:34:08.000 fiery arrows of the devil." Now, to understand that the shield of faith in the
00:34:12.000 Roman soldiers, they would've had wooden shields with thick layers of leather on
00:34:16.000 them, surrounded by metal, and the leather had to be maintained If they didn't
00:34:21.000 maintain the leather on their shield, it would get dry and crusty.
00:34:24.000 It would not be able to perform well.
00:34:26.000 So they had to continually and consistently put oil and different things on the
00:34:30.000 shield to keep it saturated, to be able to stop the fiery arrows.
00:34:36.000 So typically, the enemies of Israel, the people who were shooting at them, they'd
00:34:40.000 dip their arrows in pitch or tar, light them on fire, and shoot them at the Roman
00:34:44.000 soldiers. The
00:34:47.000 shield was not meant to avoid the arrow.
00:34:49.000 It was meant to absorb the arrow, to take the hit and extinguish the flame.
00:34:54.000 So the enemy will shoot arrows at you. He'll shoot accusations.
00:34:58.000 He'll shoot condemnation at you. You don't have to avoid it and try to ignore it.
00:35:03.000 You must simply be able to absorb it, and a shield of faith is something that is
00:35:07.000 able to take those hits and say, "You know what? You can say all you want about me.
00:35:10.000 I'll take it." And not defend yourself, not feel like you have to defend yourself.
00:35:15.000 Or sometimes the enemy will say stuff to you that you can agree with.
00:35:19.000 When the devil says, "Hey, you're not good enough.
00:35:21.000 Who are you to call yourself a Christian? Look, you're still sinning.
00:35:24.000 You're still doing those things." You can say, "You know what?
00:35:26.000 You're right, because it's not my righteousness. It's not my doing that I'm saved.
00:35:31.000 It's only Christ who saves me." Sometimes it's okay to agree with the devil that
00:35:35.000 I'm not good enough to be saved because that's true.
00:35:38.000 It's only through Christ that we are good enough that we can truly be righteous
00:35:43.000 with Him. The other thing that's interesting about the shield of faith is, as one
00:35:46.000 soldier holds a shield, you're still exposed on many different sides.
00:35:51.000 So in Roman military tactics, they would build this thing called a tortoise shell
00:35:55.000 that when enemies would launch thousands of arrows at a group of soldiers, they
00:36:00.000 would gather closely together so that they put their shields side by side and some
00:36:05.000 even on top, and would create this protective shell, a shield of faith, protecting
00:36:11.000 the men from all the attacks and all the arrows.
00:36:13.000 So not only is your shield going to protect you from attack, but now you're
00:36:17.000 protecting your brother, your sister, the person next to you from the attack as
00:36:21.000 well. And sometimes we need each other's faith.
00:36:24.000 We need to rely on each other's faith because when my faith is lacking, sometimes I
00:36:28.000 hear a story like Kenan's testimony, I go, "You know, my faith is built up." My
00:36:31.000 faith is realizing God still heals, transforms, and saves people's lives. Amen.
00:36:36.000 We share each other's faith as well.
00:36:41.000 Verse 17, "Put on salvation as your helmet.
00:36:44.000 Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." So put on this helmet of
00:36:50.000 salvation. Interesting thing about helmets is if you put it on backwards, they
00:36:54.000 don't work very well, right? You put on this helmet of salvation, you're trying to
00:36:57.000 look behind you, it's not going to work well.
00:37:00.000 You put the helmet on to look forward. It protects everything else.
00:37:03.000 And how this applies, many of us try to look at our past. We live in our past.
00:37:08.000 We bring up all these events or things in our past.
00:37:11.000 But your salvation wasn't just a past event. It's something we look forward to.
00:37:16.000 And I believe God wants to get us looking forward, not looking at our past.
00:37:21.000 And I really believe there's some of us here, we need to let go of some things of
00:37:23.000 the past. We need to forgive. We need to repent. We need to apologize.
00:37:29.000 We need to get free from our past to be able to look forward, to look ahead, to see
00:37:34.000 our salvation is something, not just a past event, but how we look ahead.
00:37:39.000 And he says, "Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Now, that
00:37:44.000 sword that he's referencing, he actually used the word machaira, which is a short
00:37:47.000 sword about 18 inches long. So it's not a big sword where you're just sweeping and
00:37:51.000 swinging and flailing. It's a very short sword that's meant to be intentional,
00:37:55.000 thrusted forward. So when an enemy comes at you, you can thrust with precision,
00:38:00.000 with impact, and stop the threat. And that word that he says, which is the word of
00:38:06.000 God, he actually used the word rhema.
00:38:08.000 Now, a couple different words for the word of God.
00:38:11.000 Talking about the Bible, this is considered logos. It's the whole counsel of God.
00:38:16.000 It's the word of God. But he uses a different word here called rhema, which is a
00:38:20.000 specific spoken word. Just like when Jesus countered the
00:38:25.000 accusations or the attack or the temptation from Satan, he used a specific verse.
00:38:30.000 He used a specific truth from the word of God. That was a rhema punch.
00:38:34.000 It was that sword just slicing right at the enemy.
00:38:37.000 So we don't just swing the sword like this all around and hope we're good, or we
00:38:41.000 got a Bible on our shelf at home and hope we're good.
00:38:43.000 We're covered by the word of God, but we must know how to use that sword.
00:38:48.000 So when the enemy comes at you and says, "Wow, you're really messing up again.
00:38:51.000 You're a sinner." You can just slice him.
00:38:53.000 "I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus." When he says, "Hey, you going back to
00:38:56.000 your old ways, your old self." You can stab again and say, "I'm a new creation in
00:39:00.000 Christ Jesus." When he comes at you and says, "Hey, your wife's really causing
00:39:03.000 problems again." And you start listening to that voice in your ear, you can slice
00:39:07.000 and say, "We don't fight against flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and
00:39:11.000 authorities and the principalities of the dark world." You have to know scripture
00:39:14.000 in order to use it against the enemy, a specific word for a specific attack to
00:39:20.000 overcome the lies with truth. If you don't know Bible verses, you're never
00:39:26.000 going to be able to use the sword as it was originally intended.
00:39:31.000 And all the ladies who were here yesterday, we gave out card stock of God Says I
00:39:36.000 Am, a bunch of verses that are great ones to memorize.
00:39:39.000 If you want one of those, we'll find them. We have some extra ones.
00:39:41.000 I'm sure we'll give you one. Men, you sign up for Victory and Freedom and come
00:39:45.000 Saturday, you're going to get those as well. That's part of the training.
00:39:49.000 That's part of the equipping that we do, is we help you know how to fight against
00:39:53.000 the enemy, fight spiritually, and use the word of God with intentionality and with
00:39:59.000 precision. Verse 18. So he shares six pieces of armor, and then he gets to this,
00:40:04.000 verse 18. He says, "Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion.
00:40:10.000 Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere."
00:40:17.000 He talks about prayer not as a seventh part of the armor, but the prayer is really
00:40:22.000 the breath, the oxygen that the soldier fights with.
00:40:26.000 Without the prayer, without the praying in the Spirit, the armor of God is really
00:40:31.000 just a wardrobe. It's just a bunch of pieces of metal.
00:40:34.000 It's just a bunch of stuff in the natural.
00:40:36.000 Without prayer, prayer is what makes it spiritual.
00:40:39.000 Prayer is not just fighting in our strength, but it's now fighting in His strength,
00:40:43.000 in the Lord's strength. He strengthens us. He gives us the strategy.
00:40:48.000 He is the one who's the commander, the ultimate leader of our lives, and we pray in
00:40:53.000 the Spirit at all times on every occasion.
00:40:55.000 That's an all-the-time kind of thing, and staying alert and being persistent in
00:41:00.000 your prayers. We shouldn't just pray one time and give up.
00:41:03.000 We're praying persistently for all believers everywhere.
00:41:09.000 We should be praying for one another. We should be praying as a church family.
00:41:12.000 We should be praying for the people in your household.
00:41:14.000 We should also be praying for people around the globe who are facing so many
00:41:17.000 horrible atrocities. When we pray in the Spirit, and when you really focus, just a
00:41:22.000 side note, if you're lacking in gratitude, start looking about what's happening in
00:41:28.000 Africa. Start looking up what's happening to Christians in Nigeria.
00:41:32.000 Start looking about what's happening to Christians in China, North Korea, and other
00:41:35.000 parts of the world. You'll start becoming very grateful and thankful that we live
00:41:39.000 in this country. Of all the stuff that's going on in the world, we need to be
00:41:43.000 praying for believers everywhere, and ultimately bring us to understand that to use
00:41:49.000 the armor of God correctly and powerfully, we must be connected to the one who
00:41:54.000 actually gave us the armor, God Himself.
00:41:57.000 So three questions I want to ask you, make this very practical, and then we're
00:42:00.000 going to close here in just a couple minutes. Three questions to ask.
00:42:03.000 Where have I been fighting in my own strength?
00:42:08.000 Where have you been fighting without asking God, without going to Him in prayer?
00:42:13.000 Maybe trying to figure it all out on your own.
00:42:16.000 Where have you been fighting in your own strength? You can take a picture of this.
00:42:19.000 You can write it down. Number two, what lie have I been believing instead of God's
00:42:25.000 truth?
00:42:27.000 Have you been believing you're not good enough? You're worthless?
00:42:30.000 Are you really a son or daughter of the Most High?
00:42:35.000 Maybe you've been believing a lie that your past is defining your future, that
00:42:38.000 you're just who everyone else has said you are rather than what God says you are.
00:42:43.000 Number three, what practical step do I need to take today to stand firm?
00:42:49.000 What step can you take? Maybe it's I'm going to be intentional of reading my Bible
00:42:53.000 every single day.
00:42:55.000 I'm going to memorize one scripture verse this week. Memorize Ephesians 6:10-18.
00:43:01.000 Memorize the armor of God, and then take that step to say every day, "God, help me
00:43:05.000 put this armor on, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes
00:43:09.000 of peace. Put on the helmet of salvation.
00:43:12.000 Take up that shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit," and practically and
00:43:16.000 conscientiously pray that prayer every single day.
00:43:20.000 Put on the armor so you're ready when the enemy comes at you.
00:43:25.000 One of my favorite verses in the Bible, and I'm going to give you one verse,
00:43:29.000 Colossians 2 verse 15. The context here is Jesus, He canceled the record
00:43:35.000 of charges against us. He stopped the lies, the accusations, the
00:43:41.000 condemnation of Satan against us when He nailed them to the cross.
00:43:46.000 It says, "In this way, He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities."
00:43:52.000 He shamed them publicly by His victory over them on the cross.
00:43:56.000 In military times, in the Roman times, they would conquer a king or a kingdom, and
00:44:00.000 they'd bring all the prisoners of war.
00:44:02.000 They'd strip them of their warfare, strip them of their weapons, and then they'd
00:44:06.000 parade them in front of the people, shaming them publicly, showing their victory
00:44:12.000 over the enemy. Now, it sounds harsh talking about people, but we're talking about
00:44:18.000 a real devil, a real enemy who wants to kill, steal, and destroy.
00:44:23.000 He wants to rip your marriage apart.
00:44:25.000 He wants to pull your children out of the faith.
00:44:28.000 He wants to cause anxiety and depression and suicide.
00:44:31.000 He wants to destroy you and everybody around you.
00:44:35.000 We don't play nice with people like that.
00:44:37.000 If anybody kicked in my door to come hurt my family, I'm not asking him nicely to
00:44:41.000 leave. I'm going to use my weapons that I have available to stop that threat.
00:44:46.000 Why would we treat Satan any different? He's the enemy of our souls.
00:44:51.000 He wants us to be separated from God. So Jesus, He already disarmed him.
00:44:56.000 He already removed the lies, the condemnation.
00:45:00.000 He removed the effects and the impact and the ability of Satan to destroy our
00:45:04.000 lives. But we welcome the enemy right back in.
00:45:08.000 We must shame the enemy over and over.
00:45:12.000 Jesus did it as His victory over the cross. How do we do that? We speak truth.
00:45:18.000 We become people of truth. We stand upon the truth.
00:45:24.000 Kenan's testimony just highlights the truth of what God can do.
00:45:28.000 He shamed the enemy. He shamed all the stuff from his past because that's not what
00:45:33.000 defines him. Would you please stand to your feet?
00:45:37.000 I want to read one more verse, 2 Corinthians 5 verse 21.
00:45:41.000 It says, "For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so
00:45:46.000 that we could be made right with God through Christ." The only way we can be made
00:45:51.000 right with God is through Jesus Christ, the work He did on the cross.
00:45:56.000 He never sinned, yet He gave His life as an offering for our sin.
00:46:02.000 Would you join me in prayer? Heavenly Father,
00:46:05.000 God, we thank you that the battle is yours.
00:46:07.000 God, we thank you that we can see the end of the story, that you win.
00:46:11.000 God, I pray in the meantime, as we fight this spiritual battle that we're living
00:46:15.000 in, God, first and foremost, you'd show us that the enemy is real.
00:46:20.000 The enemy is not living in our household.
00:46:22.000 The enemy is not in our family, not in the church. They're not in people.
00:46:26.000 But God, the enemy is somebody you've already conquered.
00:46:30.000 God, we thank you that you've shown us how you've proven victory over the enemy on
00:46:35.000 the cross, that you shamed him publicly. God, you overcame sin and death.
00:46:41.000 God, I pray we would be a people who live in victory and freedom.
00:46:46.000 God, not with a license to go sin, but God, the freedom that comes from knowing
00:46:51.000 you, that who the Son sets free is free indeed.
00:46:55.000 And God, I pray for freedom over every single person here.
00:46:58.000 God, I pray for every marriage in this room, every marriage of every person
00:47:02.000 listening online. God, that we would see our spouse as the one you've called us to
00:47:07.000 love, and we'd stop doing the work of Satan by fighting with our spouse.
00:47:13.000 God, I pray that we would not leave this room, God, before we go to our spouse and
00:47:17.000 reconcile any differences, any disagreements, to not give a list of wrongs, but
00:47:22.000 simply to own up to what we have done. To say, "Honey, I'm sorry.
00:47:27.000 Will you forgive me?
00:47:29.000 Honey, I apologize for being harsh. I apologize for being mean.
00:47:33.000 I apologize for the things I said or the things I did." To get right with our
00:47:37.000 spouse, to get right with people in our lives.
00:47:40.000 Maybe you need to send a text, you need to make a phone call to get right with
00:47:44.000 somebody who you've wronged, or there's been tension in your life.
00:47:49.000 The enemy wants to use unforgiveness.
00:47:51.000 He wants to use bitterness and division to rip people apart.
00:47:56.000 When God says there's blessing where there's unity, God says there's life, there's
00:48:01.000 freedom, there's joy.
00:48:04.000 So God, I pray for every single one of us, God, to be made right with you.
00:48:08.000 It may start with us being made right with somebody else.
00:48:11.000 God, to get right in our relationships right now where there's tension, where
00:48:15.000 there's division, where there's bitterness and anger. God, I pray for healing.
00:48:19.000 I pray for wholeness. I pray for life and life abundantly over each and every
00:48:23.000 person, every family, every relationship.
00:48:27.000 God, may we fight the real battle in the Spirit.
00:48:30.000 And God, I know it's your armor, your grace, and your strength.
00:48:33.000 In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Can we give God a great big hand?
00:48:38.000 He is so worthy, so good. Hallelujah.
